Larry Graebner | Captain Larry Graebener Having joined the USAAF in May 1941, Larry Graebener was posted to the 45th Squadron based in Hawaii. Transferred to the 12th Squadron he took part in his first combat in August of 1942. During his war he took part in three major Pacific battles, flew 50 combat missions, crash landed twice in the Pacific, and spent a week behind Japanese lines. Larry Graebener was in the top cover flight on the Yamamoto Mission. |
