Warrant Officer Eddie Jones A Wireless Operator, he served on Halifaxes with 428 Sqn RCAF, he was shot down in April 1944 on his 29th ‘Op by a German night fighter whilst on a mission to Germany. After being taken PoW he spent time in various camps all with W.O Reg Cleaver.
