Briggs Cunningham (deceased) Briggs Swift Cunningham - a race driver and manufacturer, famed for his sports cars in the 1950s, produced and drove many sportscars throughout the 50s and into the 60s, with his last race as both driver and entrant being in 1965 at Sebring. Briggs Cunningham passed away aged 96, in 2003.
