He joined the Air Staff and after the war took on a number of senior roles, his last being Air Secretary from 1970 until retirement in 1972. He died in 1992. He commanded No.576 Sqn before taking on a role with the Air Staff. Post-war he took on a number of senior roles, lastly as Air Secretary in 1970 before retirement in 1972. He died on 5th February 1992.
